Go to your pet's profile, tap "Medications", then "Add Medication". Enter the medication name, dosage, and frequency. Enable notifications to receive reminders when it's time for each dose.
Does Pawfolio sync across my devices?
Yes! Pawfolio uses iCloud to sync your pet data across all your Apple devices - iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. Make sure you're signed in to the same iCloud account on all devices and that iCloud sync is enabled in the app settings.
How do I scan and store documents?
Go to your pet's profile, tap "Documents", then tap the camera icon. You can scan physical documents using your camera or import existing photos and PDFs. Scanned documents are stored securely and synced across your devices.
Can I track multiple pets?
Absolutely! Pawfolio supports unlimited pets. Each pet has their own profile with separate health records, medications, and appointments.
How do I find emergency vets near me?
Tap the "Emergency" button on the home screen or go to Settings > Emergency Vet Finder. The app will use your location to show nearby emergency veterinary clinics with contact information and directions.
Is my pet's data secure?
Yes. All data is stored locally on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account, which is encrypted by Apple. We do not store your pet data on our servers. You can also enable Face ID/Touch ID for additional protection.
How do I export my pet's data?
Go to Settings > Export Data. You can export all your pet information, health records, and documents as a backup file or to share with your veterinarian.
Why isn't my data syncing to my Apple Watch?
Make sure both your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected and that iCloud sync is enabled. Try restarting both devices. The Watch app may take a few moments to sync initial data.
How do I delete my data?
To delete individual records, swipe left on the item and tap Delete. To delete all data, go to Settings > Delete All Data. This action cannot be undone.
Troubleshooting
App won't open or crashes
Try these steps:
- Force quit the app and reopen it
- Restart your device
- Make sure you have the latest version of Pawfolio from the App Store
- Ensure your device has enough storage space
- If the issue persists, try deleting and reinstalling the app (your data is backed up to iCloud)
Notifications not working
Check the following:
- Go to Settings > Pawfolio and ensure Notifications are enabled
- In the app, go to Settings and verify notification preferences
- Check that Do Not Disturb mode is not active
- Make sure your device's system time is correct
iCloud sync issues
If your data isn't syncing:
- Check that you're signed in to iCloud on all devices
- Go to Settings > [Your Name] > iCloud and ensure Pawfolio is enabled
- Make sure you have available iCloud storage
- Try signing out of iCloud and signing back in
- Check your internet connection
