- Sync your data across your devices via iCloud
- Send medication reminders and appointment notifications
- Help you locate nearby veterinary services

Data Storage and Security
Your pet data is stored locally on your device and synced via Apple's iCloud service. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information:
- Local Storage: All pet data is stored locally on your device using iOS secure storage.
- iCloud Sync: If enabled, data syncs through your personal iCloud account, which is encrypted by Apple.
- Face ID/Touch ID: Optional biometric authentication to protect sensitive information.
- No Server Storage: We do not store your pet data on our servers. Your data remains with you.
Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties.
We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- With your explicit consent
- To comply with legal obligations
- To protect our rights and safety
- With service providers who assist in app operations (e.g., crash reporting), under strict confidentiality agreements
Sharing Features
Pawfolio Pro includes optional sharing features that you control:
- Shareable Pet Profile: You can create pet ID cards containing your pet's name, photo, and optionally emergency contacts and medication information. These are generated locally on your device and only shared when you explicitly choose to share them via Messages, Email, or other apps.
- Vet Visit Summary: You can generate PDF summaries of your pet's health records to share with veterinarians. These documents are created locally and only shared at your discretion.
- Data Export: You can export your pet data in various formats (PDF, CSV, JSON) for backup or sharing purposes.
Important: When you share pet profiles or health summaries, you are responsible for choosing who receives this information. We recommend only sharing with trusted individuals like veterinarians, pet sitters, or family members.
Your Rights and Choices
You have control over your data:
- Access: View all your data within the App at any time.
- Export: Export your pet data and documents.
- Share: Create shareable pet profiles and vet visit summaries.
- Delete: Delete individual records or all data from the App.
- Permissions: Control app permissions (camera, photos, location, notifications) through your device settings.
- iCloud Sync: Enable or disable iCloud sync in the App settings.
Children's Privacy
Pawfolio Pro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us.
Third-Party Services
The App may integrate with the following third-party services:
- Apple iCloud: For data synchronization across devices
- Apple Maps: For finding nearby veterinary clinics
- Apple HealthKit: For syncing pet walking activities (optional)
- Apple Calendar: For adding appointments to your calendar (optional)
- Apple Contacts: For linking veterinarian and pet sitter contact information (optional)
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information.
